This wonderful mom, mother-in-law, grandma, great grandma, sister, neighbor and friend passed away Wednesday, February 18, 2026, at the Heritage of Bel Air in Norfolk.

Margret Ann (Reinhart) Love, was the wife of Vernon Paul “Vern” Love, who passed away in August of 2021, and the mother of Connie (Dan) Geary of Norfolk, Bob (Maria) Love of Elk Point, SD, Marcia (Rick) Field of Madison, Jim (Holly) Love of Grand Island, Gary (Cathy) Love of Norfolk, and Debra (Dan) Massey of Yankton, SD.

Marge was born on May 25,1932, in Norfolk, Nebraska, the daughter of Albert Reinhart and Agnes (Beller) Reinhart. She grew up on her parents’ farm south of Madison with brothers Art and Albert Reinhart, (both deceased) and sister Joan (Reinhart) Boeder of Omaha. They all attended St. Leonard's Catholic School in Madison, followed by Madison High School.

After graduation, Marge worked briefly at the Madison Star Mail in Madison before becoming a stay-at-home mom following her marriage to Vern in August 9, 1951, at St. Leonard’s Catholic Church in Madison. They farmed the home place south of Madison, where they also raised cows and chickens for several years before moving to Norfolk following a farm accident that took part of Vern's left arm.

After a few years of living in Norfolk, they moved back to Madison, where Marge worked as bookkeeper in their Allis Chalmers business for many years. She then worked at Sherwood Medical in Norfolk, where she made many dear friends of her co-workers there.

Marge and Vern retired in the new home they built in Norfolk in 2003, where they enjoyed walking in the neighborhood, outside evenings on the deck, playing cards and Fast Track with old friends, new neighbors and family, and rarely missed watching Nebraska Girls Volleyball, and Boys Basketball games.

Together they frequented grandkids and great-grand kids golf tournaments, track meets and basketball games. They took day trip drives down country roads just to explore.

She was the ever-patient extra set of hands for Vern's woodworking projects, the mom/grandma/great grandma who baked, cooked, plus wrapped gifts for grandchildren then great-grandchildren for Christmas, of which she had 28 grandchildren and 62 great-grandchildren.

She and friend/sister-in-law Sandy Reinhart rarely missed their weekly Sunday mass together followed by breakfast at Hy-Vee.

We will all greatly miss her.

Memorials are requested to the family for future designation.
